YOGA THERAPY
HOLISTIC APPROACH TO WELL-BEING

What is yoga therapy?

In my practice of yoga therapy, I embrace a holistic approach to nurturing wellbeing by addressing ten essential domains: habit and change, relationship, senses and lifestyle, movement, breathing, awareness, nutrition, life meaning, thoughts and words, and feelings. These domains form the pillars of holistic well-being, aiming to achieve balance across all aspects of life. These teachings come from the Mohan’s, direct students of Krishnamacharya.

How can this help me?

Drawing from the timeless wisdom of traditional yoga, Ayurveda, and contemporary sources, I meticulously tailor sessions to restore equilibrium across these facets. By weaving together specific techniques and practices tailored to individual needs, I offer a comprehensive system for diagnosis and therapy, guiding clients towards enhanced physical, mental and emotional health.

As humans, it’s natural for us to experience imbalances that can manifest as emotional, mental, or physical challenges. Yoga therapy provides a unique avenue to explore which aspects of our lives may be depleting our energy excessively, empowering us with tools to realign ourselves. For example, in addressing conditions such as chronic stress or anxiety disorders, yoga therapy offers effective techniques such as mindfulness practices, breathwork and gentle movement to alleviate symptoms and restore balance. These domains, shaped by our habits, serve as the foundation for both our challenges and opportunities for growth and change.
